2007 Best Dressed Environmental List
April 3rd, 2007In support and recognition of the most stylish environmentalists on the planet – and just in time to celebrate Earth Day – the Sustainable Style Foundation (SSF) is happy to announce its 2007 Best Dressed Environmental List.
Who said you have to give up looking fabulous and living well in order to do good. The individuals on our 2005 Best Dressed Environmental List – from activists to celebrities to politicians – prove that it is possible to be a person of both style and substance. Sure, these individuals always look fabulous but they’re also out trying to make the world a better place…that is what got them on our list. Our hope in establishing the annual Best Dressed Environmental List is that these high-profile lifestyle rolemodels will inspire everyone, from movies stars to the Mom next door to make more sustainable decisions in their personal lifestyle choices. True style, the essence of style, is not about following trends or conformity. It’s about expressing yourself and your individuality through the clothes you choose to wear, the food you choose to eat, the way you decorate your house, the car you choose to drive; just about everything you do every day. These outstanding individuals are proving that looking fabulous, living well, and doing good is easier than ever.
Like any “best†list there are lots of new names on the list, repeats, and many place shifts. George Clooney is number one on the men’s side for the second year in a row, Sting lands back on the list, and Jake Gyllenhaal joins the green gentlemen’s group for the first time.
