Call2Recycle is a program of the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation, and recycles old cell phones and used portable rechargeable batteries throughout the U.S. and Canada. The batteries are commonly found in lots of everyday materials, from cordless power tools, cellular and cordless phones and laptop computers to camcorders, digital cameras and remote control toys. Call2Recycle recycles the big names in battery chemistry, from Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) to Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) to Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and pretty much everything in between. Participating retailers include Batteries Plus, Black & Decker, Cingular Wireless, The Home Depot, Sears, Staples, Target and many, many more.
