The Lance Armstrong Foundation, in partnership with Nike, started the WearYELLOW, LiveSTRONG campaign to support cancer survivors through education, awareness and fundraising. By distributing yellow wristbands with the tagline printed on them, LAF has positively contributed to all three. To date, over 40 million of the wristbands have been sold, helping it become one of 2004's most recognizable symbols.
