Non-Profit: Global Green
 Global Green's second annual 'Red Carpet - Green Cars' campaign, which arranges for movie stars and other celebrities to arrive at the Academy Awards in Toyota Prius gasoline-electric hybrids, drew some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Stars who eschewed the more traditional and gas-thirsty limousines in favor of the hybrids included Charlize Theron, Marcia Gay Harden, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Sting, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Robin Williams, Will Ferrell, and Jack Black. When asked about the campaign, Will Ferrell said, "I absolutely love our Prius'. In addition to being obviously economical and environmentally friendly, they drive great and are just plain SEXY! There's no reason all Americans shouldn't be driving hybrid cars." Well said. |
