George Clooney Signs Up For Tesla Electric Roadster

August 21, 2006

Already the proud owner of one electric car (the Tango two-seater), George Clooney has put down $100,000 to be one of the first 100 people to own the zippy Tesla Roadster, available next year.

Clooney has always been one to "walk the walk" (perhaps "drive the drive" is more appropriate); his new ride will help him do so while taking him from 0-60 in about four seconds.
