In 1994, M·A·C Cosmetics founded the M·A·C AIDS Fund to provide funding to non-profit HIV/AIDS organizations and programs for basic needs, such as food, clothing, housing or shelter; direct services related to healthcare, social services, transportation, and health-related recreational activities, and programs that bring HIV/AIDS education, awareness and prevention to public attention.
