With spring right around the corner and St. Patrick's Day even closer, is there a better month to think green than March? Around the world, fans of Ireland's patron saint celebrate his big day on the 17th, and, for some, St. Patty's day comes with lots of Irish singing, dancing and green beer drinking.

Though spring hasn't officially sprung, it has certainly started around Seattle, as the budding maple tree outside the SSF office will attest. Though the calendar makes it official on the 22nd, many sustainable spring activies are already happening around town. Read on...
