SSF announced plans to begin awarding their special awards in 2005, selected by the SSF board of directors and advisors.

Vision and Innovation Award | This award recognizes an individual, organization or company that has demonstrated ongoing leadership and vision in a style/design industry.

Outstanding Public Expression | This award recognizes outstanding efforts by a celebrity, style professional or public figure that uses their high profile position to bring attention to pressing social and/or environmental issues.

Youth Vision Award | This award is given to an individual or group of individuals (including organizations and companies) under the age of 25 for exceptional and exemplary work incorporating ‘sustainable style’.

The Style and Substance Award in Honor of Audrey Hepburn | The Style and Substance Award is SSF's highest honor and recognizes outstanding efforts by a celebrity, style professional or public figure to improve the quality of life of children around the world. This award is selected by SSF and Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund boards and advisors.

PopIcon - Celebrity | This award recognizes a celebrity for a significant contribution to promoting awareness of a sustainable lifestyle and using their visibility and impact on pop culture to inspire others. Individuals are nominated by members of a youth organization, selected by popular vote.

PopIcon - Company | This award recognizes a company for a significant contribution to promoting awareness of a sustainable lifestyle and using their visibility and impact on pop culture to inspire others. Companies must be ranked by Innovest and are nominated by members of a youth organization, selected by popular vote.
