A native of New England now living in Glasgow, Scotland, Cristina values the ubiquity of reusable shopping bags, low-flush toilets, free-range eggs, and energy-saving appliances in the UK. Cristina can't stand fast, cheap fashion. She prefers making things to buying them, as she was raised to believe that handmade is always better. Aspiring towards greater self-sufficiency, she knits her own sweaters, is trying to learn how to sew her own skirts, walks everywhere she can, and would love to have a full vegetable garden some day. Cristina believes in natural materials, real food, and hard work.
