[seattle stylesheet] pump up the volume
kudos to SSF fans...
Editor's note...
Don't adjust you monitors, yes you are seeing red. That's because it's Red October at SSF. Each year, SSF will hold our Annual Campaign & Membership Drive during the month of October. Even better, we'll launch Red October each year with a fabulous Red Dress Party. Don't fret if you missed this year's party, there's always next year. But you can still be 100% involved with Red October by becoming a member or donating to SSF. Creating big, fast change in fun, positive and hip ways isn't easy. It takes money and incredible people. We're doing great on the people part, now we need to pump up the volume on the financial part. If you want to support our programs like the OSSA Awards, PALS and our youth program that will launch this spring YO!SSF...if you like the Seattle Stylesheet, SASS Magazine, our online source books, showcase and spotlight now's your chance to support SSF.
Speaking of 'pumping up the volume', I've had several experiences that have re-energized my dedication to sustainability. Starting with an amazing youth symposium in Santa Fe and ending with the opportunity to hear one of my heroes, Andre Heinz, speak on environmental issues in Bellingham town hall meeting, I'm really jazzed to get out there and spark some change. Finally, we're getting close to the 2004 Election and need to 'pump up the volume' on getting people out to vote. If you haven't visited our Voting Style Guide, do check it out...if nothing else it's darn entertaining. No matter which side of the political fence you find yourself, we can all agree we need to psych people up on voting this year.
As always, if you have a question, comment or suggestion for the next stylesheet, or you'd like to become a stylesheet sponsor, we'd love to hear from you. Email us at or give us a ring at 206.324.4850.
